Automate brings together engineers and buyers across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and energy who are actively evaluating robotics, AI, machine vision, and motion control technology for real deployments, not future roadmaps. For attendees, it offers the chance to see live automation running on the show floor, attend a conference led by the industry’s leading engineers and researchers, and pursue vision and automation certifications on site. This makes Automate the most concentrated event on the calendar for anyone deciding what automation technology to deploy next.
Automate 2026 was its biggest show yet: the 10th edition, held at McCormick Place in Chicago from June 22-25, drew more than 50,000 registrants and 1,230 exhibitors across 425,000 square feet, a record for the show. Automate 2027 marks the show’s highly anticipated debut in Las Vegas as it scales up to meet expanding industry demand. A3 has framed the move around the show’s own momentum, with the tagline “Get ready to make your move. The next wave of automation is in Las Vegas.” As Jeff Burnstein, President of A3, put it after the 2026 show: “Automate 2026 was the strongest show we have ever had, not just in size, but in the quality of the technology, conversations and connections taking place across the show floor.” The 2027 move to a larger, Strip-adjacent venue reads as a bet on that momentum continuing.
Automate 2027 runs May 10-13, 2027. Registration pricing and cancellation terms follow this schedule:

Conference sessions, certification exams, and social events require a paid All-Access Pass. We’ll keep this page updated as more 2027 schedule details are confirmed; you can bookmark it and check back closer to May 2027.
Automate 2027 is at the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, one street over from the Las Vegas Strip. The venue’s Central and West Halls are connected by the Vegas Loop, a free underground tunnel system running all-electric vehicles between stations, cutting what would otherwise be a 25-minute walk between halls down to about 2 minutes. Which halls Automate occupies for 2027 hasn’t been announced yet; we’ll update this section once the floor plan is published.
The closest airport is Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), about 3.5 miles from the venue. Here is how to get there:
By Air: LAS is Las Vegas’s primary airport, with direct service to nearly 160 U.S. and international cities.
● Rideshare or taxi typically takes 10-15 minutes under normal conditions, though this can stretch to 40 minutes or more during major show arrival peaks. Expect fares in the $15-25 range normally, rising to $30-45 during peak show periods.
● The Las Vegas Monorail doesn’t connect directly to the airport; the closest station is MGM Grand, reachable by rideshare or taxi from arrivals.
By Monorail: Once on the Strip, the monorail’s Boingo Station serves the Convention Center directly, with trains arriving every 4-8 minutes.
By Car: On-site parking runs $15 per day with in-and-out privileges if you keep your receipt. The venue is a cashless property for parking, food, and beverage. Parking lots fill quickly during major shows, so early arrival or an alternate transit option is worth planning for.
Accommodations
On the Monorail Line: Hotels connected to the monorail line, including properties near the MGM Grand, Harrah’s/The LINQ, and Westgate stations, offer the most convenient access to the Convention Center.
Nearby: Other Strip resorts are a short rideshare or monorail ride away.
Automate 2027 Conference Program
Automate’s conference and show floor programming spans several signature elements that have grown alongside the show. The Humanoid Robot Forum and the Automate Startup Challenge highlight emerging technology and early-stage companies, while the Women’s Empowerment Forum focuses on representation across the industry. The Education Pavilion, A3 NextGen Theater, Student Challenge, and A3 NextGen Student Tours run workforce and career-pathway programming aimed at students and educators entering the field. The Joseph F. Engelberger Robotics Awards, the industry’s most prestigious honor, are presented at a dedicated dinner and ceremony each year. Attendees pursuing vision expertise can also sit for Certified Vision Professional (CVP) Basic and Advanced exams on site. For anyone who can’t attend in person, Automate Rewind makes keynote recordings, theater talks, and exhibitor spotlights available after the show.
What to Expect on the Automate 2027 Show Floor
The show floor covers the full automation technology stack:
● Industrial and Collaborative Robotics (Cobots): Palletizing, picking, and sorting arms engineered for industrial environments.
● Artificial Intelligence & Machine Vision Systems: Cameras, sensors, and software built for manufacturing inspection and quality control.
● Motion Control and Industrial Automation Hardware: Actuators, drives, and components powering automated machinery.
● Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) & Warehouse Automation: Fleets designed for material handling and goods-to-person workflows.
● Humanoid Robots: Next-generation form factors designed to operate in human-centric spaces.
While legacy machine vision remains a cornerstone of the event, driven by A3’s official Certified Vision Professional (CVP) program, the rapid influx of logistics buyers has turned the show floor into a testing ground for a crucial industry evolution: the shift from generic manufacturing inspection systems to advanced computer vision purpose-built for complex warehouse environments.
Beyond Traditional Machine Vision: Computer Vision for the Warehouse
Because logistics operations move too quickly to wait for an annual trade show, forward-thinking warehouse teams are already deploying specialized computer vision to eliminate manual tracking errors. This is the exact challenge Vimaan addresses.
Unlike traditional machine vision systems adapted from automotive or manufacturing lines, Vimaan’s platform is engineered natively for the warehouse floor. Our core inventory visibility solutions – StorTRACK for automated cycle counting, PalletSCAN for automated pallet receiving and shipping, and ParcelSCAN for automated parcel receiving and shipping – all run on the same computer vision platform, enabling 100% inventory accuracy across these workflows. If you want to see how advanced computer vision can optimize your facility ahead of the Las Vegas show, you can book a conversation with our technology experts today for a tailored workflow walkthrough.
Registration is available at https://www.automateshow.com/. Walking the show floor, attending the daily keynote, and visiting exhibitor booths is free. Conference sessions, certification exams, and social events require a paid All-Access Pass, with early bird pricing available from June 25, 2026 through March 29, 2027.
