Field Engineer

Field Engineer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with program managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and assess deployment needs.
- Install, configure, and calibrate robotic, computer vision, and automation systems at client sites, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
- Generate comprehensive reports and develop software solutions for testing and validation purposes.
- Assist in the acquisition and analysis of data and images from our robotic systems.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to optimize operations for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Support engineers in various experiments, data gathering, production coordination, and customer meetings.
- Maintain open communication with the Applications Engineering team to address and resolve issues for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients remotely and on-site as needed, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide comprehensive training sessions to client personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our systems, ensuring a smooth transition to autonomous operation.
Field Engineer Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 2-5 years of experience supporting operations, new product introduction, or application development.
- Willingness to travel to client sites domestically as required up to 30% of the time
- Work From Office at HQ is a must
- Experience in onsite customer support and collaborating with remote teams.
- Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and implementing software code.
- Familiarity with sensors, cameras, or other robotics-related functions is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
