KG prides himself in tackling some of the most demanding automation challenges faced across industries today. KG founded Vimaan in 2017 to address the ongoing issues the warehousing industry has struggled with in collecting highly accurate inventory counts. While other warehouse workflows have been successfully automated over the years, data collection continued to be costly, highly labor intensive and imprecise. After years of working with some of the most well-known 3PLs and warehousing operations, KG brought Vimaan out of stealth-mode in January 2022.
Prior to Vimaan, KG founded other successful technology organizations including Fidelica Microsystems (acquired by Lenovo) and Verreon (acquired by Qualcomm). KG has also served in a senior technology leadership role at other companies such as DAS Devices and QUALCOMM.
KG received his Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
